• What is a digital download?
A digital download is any software, graphic, game or add-on which you can purchase and download without a physical copy.
• How will I receive my digital purchase, and how long until I receive my digital product?
Upon completing your purchase you will be immediately provided a download link to your product(s).
• Do my download links expire/have a download limit?
Your download links don’t expire, and do not have a download limit. So if you’ll need your digital images in the future, you will be able to download them again.
• I thought these were digital products. Why am I being asked for my address?
All our products except Limited Prints are digital. However, we need your address information for billing purposes. Free products do not require address information.
• I see you have a mobile site. Can I download my purchases on mobile?
While you may browse and purchase from any version of our site, please be aware that some of our products are delivered as compressed ZIP files. That means you’ll need to extract them to get to your actual files. While this is easy on a desktop/laptop, it can be tricky on mobile, and may require an app to work. So yes, you can download your purchases on a mobile device, but we don’t necessarily recommend it.
• I need a new download link because I lost my link, my computer broke and I lost all my files, etc.
We suggest that you backup your files in the cloud or on an external device for safety. But, in case you lose your link and need a new one, please just contact us. We will assist you in getting to your files.
• How do I print a PDF?
You’ll need a program that supports PDFs, like Adobe Acrobat (which is free). Open the program, click File- Print. Then set your printer (your Canon, Lexmark, etc.), set the number of copies, and set the print size to “Acutal Size” or “Page Scaling- None” or something similar. Double check your print preview, then click print. If you need to trim your printable for any reason, use scissors or a paper trimmer to remove the excess white space.
• I see your graphics come in several file formats. What file format do I need?
The file you need depends on what you plan to do and what program you want to use. For raster-based programs (Photoshop, GIMP, etc.) you’ll want PNGs. For vector programs (like Adobe Illustrator) you’ll want AI/EPS vector files. For cutting designs out using a cutting machine (like a Cricut or Silhouette), you’ll want SVG/DXF files (though you can also work with PNGs, SVG/DXF files are ideal). Every program is different, and there are even variations between program versions. So if you’re in doubt, please consult your manual to check your program’s compatible file formats before purchasing.
• How to print at home?
You can print at home using your own inkjet printer.
In that case try to use quality photo paper, as thick as possible (Premium quality photo papers are typically around 150-250g). Matte, semigloss, or glossy paper are your choices. Matte paper best works for black&white designs, semigloss or glossy papers are best suited for colourfull designs, as they assure rich and vibrant colors.
As a general rule, it is always safest to buy the same brand of paper as is the make of your printer. For example, if you already own Epson printer, then buy Epson Premium Photo Paper, and so on.Ink is another thing you should consider.Premium quality pigmented inks will give you very long lasting prints, but ordinary printer ink should also give you excellent results, only durability and fade resistness will be reduced.
• How to print at print store or online?
Take the files (e.g. on a USB or cd) to your local office supply store to have them printed e.g. Staples, Office Depot, Costco, FedEx Kinkos, Walmart, Sams etc.
